The TIR enjoyed having Olympian Leo Manzano join us last year… and so many of the kids enjoyed beating him (wink wink)… the TIR plans to have him back!
So again, we are calling on all Texas children (ages 5-13) to join us for a very special running opportunity to race 2008 Olympian Leo Manzano over 1 mile at high noon from the TIR start line in Bastrop for the Texas Dream Mile with Leo Manzano! Of course, the cannon will start the race, and every finisher will be awarded a medal! Leo will be available before and after the race to talk, and he will have signed pictures to give away… this is an event not to be missed!
The only price to be paid will come in the form of effort given on the course!
Watch the video to get better acquainted with Leo. Then, register your child using the super short form that will be below the video starting in November. Registration will close the Saturday, March 24, but registering sooner is better than later. We’ll see you at the start line!
